SEPTEMBER | Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving for the Life of Queen Elizabeth II

JUNE | Jubilee Celebration
We celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a Service of Thanksgiving at the Chapel honouring Her Majesty for 70 years of faith and service to the Nation, followed by a village tea party on the Playing Field.
APRIL | Easter Celebration at Dawn

MARCH | Mother's Day Celebration
Our Mother’s Day celebration on Sunday was a special time and we were delighted to welcome children from toddlers and Speen School - delicious pastries and other goodies were served to our guests by a great team of dads!
MARCH | Stories of Healing and Hope
Ken and June Brazier shared stories of healing and hope from the inspiring work of the Mercy Ships at our ladies breakfast on Saturday morning. You can find out more about Mercy Ships HERE.
MARCH | Look at the view!
The overgrown hedge at the corner of Pye Lane has been removed to make way for a new hedge in line with our main gate. This not only opens up the view of the church and village but will improve the sight line for cars and pedestrians turning onto Pye Lane.
JANUARY | Tiddlers and Toddlers
Tiddlers and Toddlers starts back for the New Year on Tuesdays during termtime 9.30-11.30am for all parents, carers and little ones.

NOVEMBER | Village Breakfast
Fionuala Bonnar, Deputy CEO and Director of Development at MHFA England spoke on the important issue of Mental Health at the Village Breakfast on Saturday. NOVEMBER | Remembrance Sunday
We were joined at our Service of Remembrance by the guides, Cllr Roger Craft, Group Captain Katherine Wilson CBE and Group Captain Mike Wilson who laid wreaths at the lychgate Village War Memorial. The armour of God was beautifully illustrated by one of the guides who bravely volunteered to put on a 21st century version!
OCTOBER | Harvest
At our Harvest Festival we celebrated with thanksgiving the Lord's bountiful provision with donations to bless local families in need through One Can Trust and Saunderton Lodge.
OCTOBER | Transforming Lives for Good
Thirteen ladies enjoyed a sumptuous cream tea on Thursday as they joined TLG’s online celebration of their work with struggling children and their families in the UK. With matched giving from the church and gift aid a total of £675 was raised for this incredible charity. Click HERE to find out more about TLG.

It has been a joy and a delight to be part of Speen Festival once again as a venue for friends, neighbours and visitors to the community to meet to enjoy a varied programme celebrating the very best artistic and creative talent from Speen and the surrounding areas. To find out more click HERE
AUGUST | New Wine Breaks Out in Speen!
New Wine Summer Conference came to Speen as we joined together with 1000's of Christians across the UK for 5 days of worship, talks and seminars streamed live in the Chapel and Hall. Undeterred by the rain, our Sunday morning celebration was rounded off with a BBQ. Next year we hope to be back at New Wine in person at the East of England Showground Peterborough (click HERE for further details)
