Governance

Speen Church is self-governed and independently financed. It is part of the Baptist Family of Churches. It supports and is supported by the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BU) and works with regional representatives to ensure best practice.

The church complies with the guidelines drawn up by the BU for child protection.  All volunteers involved with any of the children’s groups supply references and complete the forms required for clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
